School is out for the summer!

For me, I'm not sure how long school is out, but my first semester of art classes was a success! I really hope I can be a life-long learner, but for the summer at least I think I'm taking a school break. I'm a working woman these days! Starting full-time on Monday :)

The art show was fun. I didn't get any of the big prizes, but those mostly went to second year students taking the advanced art classes. There were some really neat pieces and it was an honor to have 3 of mine make it in!

Yesterday I finished my final critique, packed up my locker and kissed the campus goodbye (only to return again in the evening to pick-up my pieces from the show). Today I'm considering venturing to the art store to use my 40% off coupon to purchase my very own easel. I'm just not sure where I would put it...
