Drought Relief

With donations from IDES, MPCC, and other various donors, AfricaHope was able to do a food distribution over the last few weeks. 2087 households from 26 different communities in our region received food for their families. (That's around 12,500 people!)

Each family received 4 bags of maize meal and a small container of shortening. This amount of food will feed a family of 6 for about 4 days.

Mamas walking home with bags full of food and a little more hope that they are not forgotten.

The rains have now begun in most of our rural communities. "God has remembered us," I've heard over and over again...
